A UNICODE keyboard has the same layout as your old non-UNICODE keyboard (Ali-font system). Which means using this will not change the style of your work.
Note that all ALI-FONTS should be removed from your computer to get the best result. You will be able to use any Windows based fonts to write in Kurdish and Arabic.
Please download the attached file below and follow the instruction to install your new UNICODE keyboard.
  1. Remove your Ali-System Keyboard
    • Go to Control panel on your Windows
    • Go to FONTS folder
    • Find all Ali-Fonts and delete them
  2. Download the latest version Mid-Kurdish UNICODE Keyboard attached to this page
  3. Extract the zip-file
  4. Right Click on the file setup.exe to run as administrator
  5. Follow the instruction on the screen,
  6. Now there is a UNICODE keyboard on your system, if you check the list of keyboards you will see (AR Arabic Iraq) keyboard which is your new UNICODE keyboard
  7. Although you will not need any extra fonts on you system to be able to write in Kurdish (Arabic letters), but you are still able to download 40 different fonts for writing Kurdish (Arabic letters). Please click here.
In order to write with your new UNICODE keyboard , open a Word Document, activate your new UNICODE Keyboard, choose any font that you want, and start writing.
Please note that we recommend everyone to use Kurdish Keyboard based on Kurdish Latin Layout rather than ALI SEMIC SYSTEM, But some finds it difficult to adjust. يەكەى بەريوەبەردنى ئايتى لە زانكۆى چەرموو تختە كليليكى يونيكۆدى بۆ زمانی کوردی دروستكردوە كە هەمان شێوازى بەكارهيێنانى تختە كليلە كۆنەكەى هەيە (سيستەمى عەلى فۆنت). ئەمە شێوازى ستايلى كاركردن ئێوە ناگۆرى. بۆ بەدەست هێنانى ئەنجامێكى باشتر، تكايە دڵنيابە لەوەى كە هەموو عەلى فۆنتەكان لە ناو كۆمپيوتەرەكدا ڕەشبكەيتەوە. بەمەبەستى نووسين بە زمانەكانى كوردى و عەرەبى دەتوانى هەرکام لە فۆنتەکانی ئاسایی ويندۆز بكار بهێنيت.

تكايە فايلى هاوپێچ خوارەوە دابەزێنە و پابەندبە بە ڕێنمايەكان بۆ جێگيركردنى تەختە كليلى يونيكۆدى نوێى.

  1. تەختە كليلى (عەلى سيستەم) ڕەشبكەنەوە- چوو بۆ ناو كۆنتڕۆڵ پەنەڵ لە ويندۆزەكەت.- چووە ناو فۆڵدەرى فۆنتەكان.- هەموو عەلى فۆنتەكان بدۆزەوە وە رەشيان بكەوە.
  2. دوا ڤێرژنى (Mid-Kurdish UNICODE Keyboard) دابەزێنە كە هاوپێچە لەم لاپەرەيەدا.
  3. زيب فايلەكە بکەرەوە
  4. كليكى راست بكە لەسەر (file setup.exe) ودواتر كليك لەسەر (run as administrator) بكە.
  5. پابەندبە بە رێنمايەكانى سەر شاشەى كۆمپيوتەرەكەت
  6. ئێستا تەختە كليلى يونيكۆد لە سيستەمەكتدا هەيە، ئەگەر چاو بخشێنى بە ليستى تەختەكليلەكان دەتوانى (AR Arabic Iraq) ببينيت كە تەختە كليليكى يونيكۆدە نوێيەكەتە.

بۆ نووسين بەم يونيكۆدە نوويە دەتوانى تەنها فايلى وۆرد بكەيتەوە وە كيبۆردە نوێيەكەت چالاك بكە وبنووسە، دەتوانى هەر فۆنتێك هەڵبژێرى كە دەتەوێت.
